Welcome to the AWAkitchens Cabinet Blog! Today, we have an exciting project to share with you - a luxurious custom kitchen in Kew, a prestigious suburb of Melbourne. Our client for this project is Douglas, who undertook a renovation and expansion of his residence in Kew to meet the demands of modern architecture. Let's delve into the impressive details of this endeavor.

Kew is known for its diverse range of architectural styles, and Douglas's home is a beautifully renovated property that blends traditional elements with contemporary additions. In the rear extension, Douglas added a kitchen and living room area. The kitchen design revolves around a sophisticated black, white, and grey color palette. The cabinetry features 2-Pac "Natural White" and Polytec Black woodmatt finishes, creating a visually striking contrast. Inside the cabinets, we incorporated sleek white Hafele Profile Handles that seamlessly integrate with the overall design, ensuring a cohesive aesthetic.

The countertop is adorned with Natural Stone Tundra Gray, and the highlight of the kitchen is the remarkable 5-meter-long island. The island's end is elegantly rounded, achieved through meticulous cutting and piecing together of fan-shaped stone segments. The result is a flawless surface that appears seamless to the naked eye. To further elevate the space, the wine cabinet area showcases a sleek black mirror splashback illuminated by strategically placed LED lighting, exuding an air of sophistication.

Moreover, the kitchen benefits from an overhead skylight, which floods the space with abundant natural light. During the day, the sun cascades through the skylight, creating a warm and inviting ambiance for cooking and dining.

AWAkitchens is honored to have been part of Douglas's remarkable custom kitchen project. Our team focused on meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the design and manufacturing process, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
